How it works

You know your business.
We build the software.

You do not need a technical brief, a project manager, or a single line of code. You need to be able to tell us how the work moves through your day. Here is exactly what happens after that.

Four steps

From your idea to your everyday work.

Every build follows the same four steps, whether it is one screen or a whole connected system. Nothing is open-ended, and nothing is paid for before it is agreed.

01

Tell us the idea

A phone call or the form on this site. Tell us what the software should do, who will use it, and what you use today — paper, a spreadsheet, or something you already pay for. Show us the job that eats your afternoons.

02

We write it down and price it

You get a plain-English list of what the software will do, screen by screen, and a fixed price for the build and the monthly service. Any outside cost it needs — text messages, maps, card processing — is listed. You agree, or we change it, before any work starts.

03

You use it as it takes shape

We build in the open. You try each screen with your own buildings, prices and people as it is finished, so the software is shaped by what you actually do, not by what we guessed.

04

We run one real job through it, together

One real customer, quoted to delivered, with us on the phone. Then the next one. After that it runs on its own, and the monthly service keeps it running, backed up and up to date.

What a build can contain

Barnwright is the example. Your business is the brief.

We built a connected system for a shed business. Each piece of it is an example of what a build for you could contain. Take what fits, leave what does not, and tell us what is missing.

The office

Every job from quoted to paid on one record. Orders routed to the right shop. Printable work orders with the drawing on them. Profit this month, margin per building, and who changed what, by name.

The customer

A 3D designer on your own website that prices off your own sheet. A private link where they can see their building, sign the paperwork and pay by card. An assistant that answers their message with the right design attached.

The team

A phone screen for the painter and the roofer with nothing else on it. A driver app with today’s stops, what to collect at the door, and their own pay sheet. A dealer hub that shows one dealership its own sales and nobody else’s.

One feature, in use

An assistant that knows your business.

Start with a real reply from Yoder’s assistant: the customer picks a color, and the assistant carries that choice into the design. Yours would be built around your products, your information and your rules.

The first scene replays a real reply from a test run by Barnwright’s founder on September 20, 2026. The quote and review scenes are an example workflow, scoped per project.

After it is built

What the monthly service is for.

Software does not stop needing attention the day it goes live. Phones update, card processors change their rules, and you will think of the next thing you want it to do. The monthly service is the person who built it staying on the job.

It is $500 a month for the Barnwright software or a custom version, and $250 a month for the 3D designer and Dealer Center. There is no build fee, and your quote says exactly what it covers.

  • Hosting and keeping it up. Your software lives on its own accounts, in your name.
  • Backups every night. A copy of your records you can download any time.
  • Fixes. If something breaks, it is ours to fix, not a ticket in a queue.
  • A person on the phone. The one who built it, not a call center.
  • No per-user fees, ever. Add people, dealers or drivers and the price stays the same.

New features after the build are quoted separately, so the monthly fee never quietly grows. Your quote lists exactly what the service includes.

Honest prices, agreed before we start.

Tell us what you want it to do. We map out the features and agree on them before any work begins. There is no build fee: one monthly price covers it.

Money back on custom work

If we build it and you don’t like it, you get your money back.

You don’t need to know how to build it.

Tell us what it should do, who will use it, and what you work with now. We work through the rest together, and a person replies within one working day.
