The monthly price starts when your software goes live. It covers hosting, nightly backups, fixes, and the person who built it on the phone. Any outside costs your software needs — text messages, maps, card processing — are listed in your quote so there are no surprises.
When custom versions open: if we build it and you don’t like it, you get your money back. This covers custom work only, not the $250 plan.

Barnwright already exists and runs every day at a real business: the office, the shop, the crew and driver phones, the dealer hub, the 3D designer and the payments. A build for you reuses those proven parts and shapes them to your process, so there is nothing to invent and nothing to charge up front.
Hosting, keeping the software up to date as phones and browsers change, nightly backups you can download, fixing anything that breaks, and the person who built it on the phone. It is $250 a month for the 3D designer and Dealer Center and will be $500 a month for the full Barnwright software or a custom version when they open. Your quote says exactly what it includes. New features after the build are quoted separately, so the monthly fee never quietly grows.
It covers custom work. We agree on what the software must do before the build, you use it as it takes shape, and if the finished thing is not what you wanted, you get your money back. We would rather carry that risk than have you carry it. It does not cover the $250 3D Designer and Dealer Center plan. The 3D designer, the Dealer Center and the Barnwright software are already built, so you can see them working before you start.
No. Add a driver, a dealer or a painter and the monthly fee stays the same. A second shop is $500 one time, and the monthly fee still stays the same. Your sales are your business; they do not change our invoice.

Your records live on accounts in your name, backed up nightly to a file you can download. If you ever leave, there is nothing to release and no fee to pay for your own data.
Your idea is the starting point. You don’t need a technical brief, and you will have a fixed price before anything starts.
